Conduct
- Chat channel behaviour – Be aware that you are ambassadors for the guild and that your behaviour reflects on all of us. Spamming, yelling, begging (for gold, gear, mats or boosts) and harassing other players is not acceptable behaviour. As the majority of our guild members are age 20+ the guild chat content can sometimes be of an adult nature. Please be aware of this when inviting younger family members or friends. However, please also note that swearing in the guild is not allowed.
- Activity – Anyone inactive for 3 months will be removed from the guild unless they have contacted GM / officers to explain the reason for this. You are welcome to reapply to the guild if you become active again.
- Loot – Loot from guild runs should be first offered to group. In raids this will be either master loot or need / greed at the raid leader’s discretion
- Selling / Sharing / Crafting – Guild members will not sell items to other guild members. Everything in guild that is offered, is done so for free, and through the generosity of guild members. If you are found trying to sell items to guild members whether it be drops or skill made items, you will be given a warning. If you want an item making by another guild member you must approach them politely and offer to supply all materials (mats) to them for the item. The giving of free items by another guild member is an act of kindness and is not ‘expected of them’ and should be appreciated
- Grouping – The Lords of Nordrassil is a friendly and helpful guild. Members may help you on quests, especially the higher quests where it is essential to be in a group. However, do not expect a lvl 80 to escort you through the game, as this will ruin game time for others, will teach you little about your class and damages the experience you gain. If at all possible get a group together of members around the same lvl as you so you can all benefit from it (higher levels may have appropriate level alts they can switch to). Feel free to create events in the calendar to help with this. Please be considerate when asking for help from guild members, remember that manners and respect go a long way.
- Recruitment – We are recruiting all classes to help to fill our ranks and to reach a good range of members at all levels. There may at times be limits on certain classes, this will purely be to keep the balance of the guild as a whole. Details of this will be in the join page and in guild information in-game. If you have any friends that you wish to have invited to the Guild contact the guild master or an officer to get them an invite but please make them aware of our rules / code of conduct. The protocol for introducing alts into the guild is as follow:
- There is no limit on how many alts you wish to bring to the guild but your main char in the guild should be over lvl 40 before you invite your first alt. You may invite subsequent alts when each alt is beyond level 30.
- You must also let the Guild know which of your characters are alts by adding it to your personal profile in the Guild (just click on your name to bring up your profile).
- Problems – If you have any problems in game with any guild members or see a guild member breaking the guild code of conduct above, please contact one of the officers or GM. If the problem is a disagreement between you and another in the guild please sort it out sensibly in whisper if possible. Any arbitration can and will be done by a guild officer.
We are a friendly, happy guild and as such don?t have as many rules as most guilds. The ones we do have though are to ensure the happiness of all of our members. The code of conduct above applies to all members (all ranks) and anyone breaking it will be dealt with in a 3 strike fashion. First offense will result in a warning this will be done in whisper by one of the Guild officers. Second offense will result in a public warning on guild chat, so that the indiscretion is known to all. Third offense will result in immediate removal from the guild. Most of the above code of conduct is common sense and courtesy and is easily followed, so hopefully no warnings will have to be given
